about your teachers

Most floral design and wreath workshops will be taught by Kirsten. Kirsten is a self-taught floral designer with over 3 years of professional design experience ranging from small elopement ceremony pieces and baby shower flowers to large-scale, multi-day events and full-service weddings.

Garden and permaculture visionary, Keith, leads all things farming, from basic 101 to novel growing techniques, and regenerative farming principles. Keith has been growing immaculate gardens for decades from a small urban plot to 1/4-acre plantings, he's mastered multiple methods useful in the home garden, backyard farm and even on a window sill. He's also our resident compost and vermicomposting expert.

Occasionally we may bring in guest teachers to share on special topics including blueberry cultivation, native pollinator habitat, fruit tree management, and more.
